Luniela Mazier
Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras in Central America, interior designer Luniela “Luna” Mazier adds a dynamic perspective to the interior design team at Elements of Design. Always inspired by the arts, Luna’s abundance of creative talent stems from her background in graphic design. Luna’s ability to effectively utilize color, pattern, texture and media organically guided her to a career in luxury interior design. Regardless of the scope, Luna approaches each interior design project with an unbridled creative energy balanced by innovative conceptual design plans.
At this point, Luna has over ten years of experience that span a variety of vocations within the interior design industry. As a result of her experiences, Luna maintains an extensive base of knowledge on the inner workings of a wide range of residential and commercial interiors. From ornate non-structural architectural features such as balustrades and Corinthian columns to complex lighting systems and the seamless integration of high end appliances, Luna understands and factors the delicate balance between the functional and aesthetic aspects of luxury interior design.
Over the course of her career, Luna has developed and managed an impressive array of residential and commercial interior design projects for many notable clients including but not limited to Sueba, Mark-Taylor, PB Bell, Grey Development, Copper Sands, JPI, and American Property.
In 1999, Luna received her Associates of Applied Sciences (AAS) in Interior Design from Phoenix College. In addition to her formal education, under the tutelage of her uncle, Cesar Mazier, the former Director of Horticulture for the Desert Botanical Gardens, Luna nurtured her natural affinity for outdoor spaces. Often, Luna’s interior designs are inspired by viewing exterior spaces and how they flow as continuous expressions of the interior.
“Going into every interior design project, my goal is to maximize the aesthetics and functionality of the space while providing the greatest possible return on investment for my client.” – Luniela Mazier
