Interior designer Lina Quintero has purchased the company from founder JoAnn Johnston, her former employer. "I am excited about the opportunity to take Elements of Design to the next level, based on the solid foundation and upstanding reputation that JoAnn Johnston has built," says Quintero. "By remaining with Elements as a full-time designer, our clients and the studio will continue to benefit from her impressive expertise." Not only can she maintain consistency in the same styles and services that we have offered at Elements of Design for the last fifteen years, she will infuse a fresh perspective into the studio's creative designs and bring new energy into the business," says Johnston, who has 25 years of design experience. Quintero plans to expand her design team in the near future to provide industry- and style-specific expertise. She has worked on a variety of design projects throughout the Valley and was an influential part of the design team whose project was featured on the cover of Phoenix Home & Garden's May 2007 issue. A resident of Carefree, Ariz., Quintero holds a bachelor's degree in art from Arizona State University's Katherine Herberger College of Fine Arts and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
